Suzanne Kaufman and I will be at Brick and Mortar Books in Redmond celebrating the launch of our new picture books—her book Blue is an absolutely gorgeous book about a great blue heron and a boy. A Gift of Dust is about the miraculous connections of the Saharan dust stream, the Amazon, and so much of the planet.
